The Winter softshell cover is a neoprene cover that keeps your xR3ACH performing at its best at sub-zero temperature (0C/32F down to -20C/-4F). The cover comes with a USB-A connector that allows the operator to connect it to a USB powerbank with 2A 5V and/or 1A 5V connector. The cable can be routed, either for Regular or Goofy operators, through a silicon opening on each side near the socket block.
The cover has an active heating group that the user can heat during temporary storage, while operating, or both. There are three levels of heating powers:
- RED = warmest, that is suitable for -20C to -10C outdoor temperature).
- BLUE = medium temperature from -10C to 0C.
- GREEN = low output, where your ambient temperature is around zero degrees celsius.
The different heating levels enables the cover to heat the spring core to room temperature, thus providing the same lift capacity/feeling as working indoors and moving outdoors.
The softshell has fully insulated zippers, and the neoprene is waterproof, which makes it ideal for outdoor work in harsh conditions. It has three separate extension pieces to precisely fit your xR3ACH, no matter which length you run it at.
NOTE: Do NOT connect the winter softshell to a power source that delivers more than 5V/2.4A. Recommended outputs are 5V/1.0A or 5V/2.1A.
The Winter softshell cover is included with every xR3ACH.
