The xR3ACH is our incredible third-section stabilization arm for steadicam operators. It has a frictionless and noiseless design. Smooth start/stops at max boom range.
The xR3ACH can extend your total boom range to 120cm / 47 inches (with xARM, other arms may have different boom range). The xR3ACH has a lifting capacity of 29 kg / 64 lbs.Â
Easy to tune and maintain long-term. All tools needed are included in the kit. The xR3ACH ships in a Peli AIR 1555 case with custom foam and a Heated softshell cover.
The xR3ACH is a groundbreaking new hybrid back mount, that not only serves as a back mount but also acts as a single-section articulated stabilization arm.
The xR3ACH is back-mounted and fits Tiffens Steadicam Fawcett Exovest, the Walter Klassen Flex and the Action Products vest. Mounting hardware is supplied for one of the vests, which you choose upon order.
The xR3ACH design is built with durability in mind, it is exceptionally robust. Made from aircraft grade aluminum, solid carbon fiber infused titanium shafts, and large stainless steel precision ball bearings.
It ships with three middle brackets of different sizes (S, M and L), used to fine-tune the position of the socket block, to ensure a great fit for your specific vest and body type. The brackets can be mounted at fixed angles of 22.5 degrees, to further fine-tune the setup.
It features a fully adjustable x-y socket block stage. The tilt angle is adjusted with a large knob, and the roll is adjusted like any usual socket block by two knobs. The roll adjustment on the xR3ACH socket block has a larger degree of adjustment than most other socket blocks on the market. The socket block follows the universal standard and is fully compatible with Tiffen and GPI Pro.Â
Our rubber polymer spring core technology is exceptionally iso-elastic to create the smoothest shots and absorb the most movement interference.
The spring cores can be tuned on the fly and quickly changed when needed.
The Winter Cover is a neoprene cover that keeps your xR3ACH performing at its best at sub-zero temperatures (0C/32F down to -20C/-4F). The cover comes with a USB-A connector that allows the operator to connect it to a USB power bank or battery with 2A 5V and/or 1A 5V connector.

The cable can be routed, either for regular or goofy operators, through a silicon opening on each side near the socket block.

The cover has an active heating group that the user can heat when resting between takes, while operating, or both. There are three levels of heating:

The xR3ACH Waterproof Cover is our thinnest and softest cover for the xR3ACH back mount. The cover is fully waterproof with its polyester/TPU outer layer and insulated zippers.
Its inner fleece material keeps the back-mount protected from anything that might scratch it. Its snug fit makes the cover a great companion to protect the back mount from sand/dust/rain without interfering with your work.
The Waterproof Cover has a small zipper that allows direct access for tensioning the spring core and has three separate extension pieces to precisely fit your xR3ACH no matter which length you run it at. We recommend using this cover in all types of weather. The cover can be hand washed up to 40C.
The xR3ACH ships with the heated Winter Cover and the Waterproof Shell Cover is available as an additional accessory.Â
