Introducing the xMOUNT

The xMOUNT is a highly robust hard mount designed for Steadicam™ usage, allowing the operator to easily adjust roll and tilt angles without unmounting the arm.

The xMOUNT includes Flowcine’s female xSOCKET block, made of titanium-plated stainless steel, ensuring compatibility with all universal male socket blocks on the market.

Due to its design, the xSOCKET offers more roll angle adjustment than other socket blocks (up to +/-16.5 degrees, depending on the male socket block), and comes with two 40mm long custom 1-¼”-20 UNC adjustment knobs.

Tilt Adjustment

The xMOUNT can be mounted on either the left or right side, allowing the operator to quickly change the setup as needed. The clamps can be flipped to position the locking eye bolt screw on the opposite side if desired.

The tilt axis is controlled by two large knobs. Once the sled is near the rig’s center of gravity, adjusting the tilt is effortless, making it easy to find the correct angle to prevent drifting fore and aft or left to right.

The xMOUNT offers a substantial +/-22.5 degree tilt adjustment, ideal for heavy slopes and other challenging conditions.

xMOUNT and Mitchell Adapter Combo

The xMOUNT is available as a kit with a Mitchell adapter. This adapter, a 50mm tube with the same height as the xMOUNT, ensures a compact package that fits standard female Mitchell mounts. It includes a stainless steel 2-¾” UN Mitchell nut.

The xMOUNT features two clamps designed for 48-51mm tubes. These clamps come with four POM adapter rings for a perfect fit with OS Products – Jackal rickshaw (48.3mm diameter tubes). The rings can be easily removed for use with standard 50mm or 2” speed rails.
